Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is a process that helps children and even adults develop basic skills for life efficiency. SEL teaches the skills we all need to deal effectively and morally with ourselves, our relationships and our work. These skills include recognizing and managing our emotions, developing interest and concern for other people, building positive relationships, making responsible decisions, and dealing with challenging situations constructively and ethically. includes being able to. These are the skills that enable children to calm down when angry, make friends, resolve conflicts respectfully, and make ethical and safe choices.

SEL is also a framework for school development. Teaching SEL skills helps create and maintain safe, relevant learning environments. SEL promotes positive development in children and adolescents, reduces problem behaviour, and improves academic performance, citizenship, and health-related behaviour.
