Project Description
Entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in a country's economic development, with VET students representing crucial potential entrepreneurs due to their proximity to entering the workforce. As educators, we aim to prepare students for successful careers through various efforts. Surveys conducted among senior students revealed a notable difference in confidence levels between those who disclosed their identities and those who remained anonymous. This prompted us to explore how education can better equip students for entrepreneurship and self-employment. Inspired by these findings, we initiated a transnational project, Entre'VET'ducation, to enhance entrepreneurship education in VET schools. Our goal is to cultivate entrepreneurial skills and mindsets among students, fostering independence and readiness for business life.
Objectives
Emphasizing the guiding/encouraging role of VET teachers,enabling them to become more competent in entrepreneurship and creating a training module to be used in VET education(Entrepreneurship training aimed at improving students' entrepreneurial skills,basic entrepreneurship and business knowledge,information and financing ways,vocational training they need,etc. and teaching social skills) and thereby making our VET pupils entrepreneurial individuals equipped to meet the needs of the job market.
